About the photographer
Lydia Marie is photographer living in the Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia Tri-State area. Her main focuses in Photography are people and nature. She offers family, engagement, maternity, newborn and senior photos; as well as keeping an open mind with all other creative inquiries. She loves to show her subject in a natural environment, showcasing their lifestyle with an almost journalistic approach. She also loves finding fun and new creative ways to capture small products and sentimental items.
Lydia first picked up the camera when she was just five years old, playing with Polaroids, disposables and phones for years. Until one day she decided to step it up a notch and go to college for something she loves. Lydia began attending The Art Institute of Nashville in 2015 and when they closed down in 2017 she decided to preserver and transferred to Nossi College of Art. After taking many classes in the studio and 'out in the field', she graduated in 2020. Now she just wants to take pictures of special moments and whatever else she feels will keep her happy. Her favorite part about lifestyle portrait photography is just capturing you and your loved ones in a natural state. holding on to real moments together that feel honest and maybe even silly, if that's who you are. She loves to simply meet you at your favorite spot (whether that's the park or the couch) and just photograph you being you! Always feel free to bring any weird personal, crazy props and outfits that you want. The goal is to express yourself, be confident, and have photos to love for a lifetime.
